The documentary reconstructs the execution by Richard Wagner of a youth symphony believed lost, the composer went in the privacy of his family on Christmas Eve of 1882 in the foyer of the Teatro La Fenice in Venice. The 'Diary' offers more narrative levels, in a constant game of textual references taken from the 'Bericht über die eines Wiederaufführung Jugendwerkes', from' Tagebücher ', the diaries of Cosima Wagner, and the testimony of Joseph Norlenghi, exceptional witness of the historical construction of which will report in his biographical essay 'Wagner in Venice' written after the death of the great German composer, which took place in Venice on 13 February 1883.
