During Carnival of Venice 2012, the Ateneo Veneto welcomes an exceptional performance of famous writer Donna Leon, in her first public venetian release.

“Curiosità Veneziane – Venetian curiosities” is a show designed by Donna Leon in the form of a recital peeling back from the music of Il Pomo d'Oro Ensemble. The songs narrated are drawn from the book 'Kurioses aus Venedig' that Donna Leon has released in 2011. The show made for the Carnival of Venice in collaboration with the Ateneo Veneto also wants to be a tribute to the city where the writer chose to live since 1981.

The reading from 5 to 7 pm is in English; from 10 pm in italian.
