in which he will discuss the role of Venetian book

publishers and religious communities in the production of miracle books associated with

the Virgin Mary. This talk stems from his current research on Italian miracle books

related to miraculous shrines in the Venetian Republic. (with slides)

Dr D’Andrea, Associate Professor at Oklahoma State University where he teaches

Renaissance and Reformation history, has published several works on the social and

religious history of Venice and the Veneto.
