Ikona Gallery is pleased to announce the next exhibition Still Lives. Portraits from Oswieçim, on 27 January 2009, from 6pm, Commemoration Day in Memory of the Victims of the Holocaust and Crimes against Humanity. She works in installation, sculpture and photography. Since 1988, Mangos has lived in Berlin and in that time she has exhibited principally in Europebut also in many important exhibitions including the internationally touring Kunstraum Deutschland, the Australian Bicentennial Perspecta and the Biennale of Sydney in 1990 (curated by Rene Block). In 2002 Mangos was included in a residency program at the British School in Rome. Mangos’ work is held by the Art Gallery of New South Wales, Queensland Art Gallery and many museum and corporate.
