Sequence 1: Painting and sculpture from the François Pinault Collection will feature a focused selection of 15 international artists whose works engages with supposedly traditional art practices - yet subject both painting and sculture to constant conceptual revisions and ever evolving techniques. Timed to coincide with the Venice Biennale, this exhibition will also feature artworks specially commissioned by the François Pinault Collection for Palazzo Grassi.
